VIM models:
- VIM400
- 860 m3 of snow per day nominally rated.
- Most suitable for snow making at high altitude ski resorts. Provides snow coverage for critically linked area of receding glaciers. With the smallest equipment footprint, the VIM guarantees high volume of environmentally friendly snow at all ambient temperatures.
- VIM850
- 1,720 m3 of snow per day nominally rated.
- Most commonly used for deep mine cooling as well as for comfort cooling and turbine inlet cooling.

Each 1°C (1.8°F) increase in the temperature of the feed water reduces the ice mass production by 1.5%.
The refrigeration capacity is not affected by the feed water temperature.
